Just another bump in the road....

Surgery  to remove the plate and screws in Braiden's femur was scheduled for February 14th.  But, my stepfather Joe had different plans....on February 13th he finished what he was here to do and is now in a better place.  Heaven will never be the same!  Braiden was very close to him as was my whole family.  We felt it was just too much stress all at one time and decided to post pone the surgery.  We have not set a new date for that yet.  Braiden's hip has been bothering him more frequently the last few weeks and he has been very tired...he doesn't sleep well, he says he has nightmares about Joe.  I am thinking maybe April will be a good time to reschedule the surgery.  I don't want to wait much longer, but I don't want Braiden to be under too much stress either.  I will keep you all posted.
