This is the diagnostic X-Ray. The affected hip is his right, you can see that the right femur bone is shorter and smaller, and has lost some of it's shape, you can see that the head of the femur has collapsed, and the dark spots are fractures and dead bone. (click on the image to see it larger)

It pretty much looks the same. I can see that it has been reobsorbed some, but, this is a slow process.

Notice how the right Femeral Head is sticking out a few millimeters past the hip bone...this is where the concern comes in. Also the growth plate is more involved than what is common.
